My first venture into updating furniture was when I found this sad, old office chair at my favorite thrift store. It was only about $10 so I figured I'd try my hand at spray painting it and recovering the seat.
Here is the fabric that I bought. I was drawn to the colors, because they are some of my daughter's favorites. I also liked the white background (since that's what I planned to paint the chair) and the vintage feel.
... and here is the finished chair! What do you think?
I like it! The fabric even looks like patchwork.
ReplyDeleteI see similar chairs at a local thrift shop for $10 all the time and I want to fix them up - but I don't have room for more chairs! It's better that I just look at yours.
